A membership entitles you to receive on going newsletters and emails about what’s going on at the museum and provides you the opportunity to vote at general meetings.

The Alberta Beach Museum will be seeking a student and one other employee (or two to job share) for the position of Hostess and general labourer/computer tech starting on the May long weekend. May to July 1st long weekend will be weekends only from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. and July to September long weekend, every day except Tuesdays from 1:00 – 6:00. Responsibilities of the Job

- Assisting Museum Guests by offering tours and answering questions
- Digitization and programming.
- Maintaining and cleaning existing exhibits and displays as needed
- Facility Maintenance and Grounds keeping
- Public Programming and Events

Volunteer

Our volunteers have logged tens of thousands of hours dedicated to making the museum a success over the years. We provide them opportunities to help behind the scenes as well as at the various special events and front desk. We are open to whatever time commitment you desire. Possible volunteer opportunities include hosting and guiding tours, gardening, cleaning and dusting, interacting with the public at special events, and using your computer skills.
